My name is Laxmi Narayana Yata.
I was born and brought up in a remote village named Bommakal, of Nalgonda District. I studied up to the 10th standard and I finished a Foundational Level Course of Bible (TAFTEE).
I have been working with Shining Stars since June 2002, as a partner in the ministry, and joined as a full-time employee in 2013. I have developed a lot personally through working with Shining Stars.
I am married. My wife’s name is Chandrakala. I have a son (Jaya Prakash) who is 16 years old, and a daughter (Joy Smyrna) who is 6 years old.
My role in Shining Stars is to run the holistic developmental centre in Bommakal and oversee two other centers, one is in Nalgonda district and the other one is in Badradrikotha Gudem district. I enjoy working among the children.
My personal vision for my role in Shining Stars is to raise godly leaders in my village, who inspire others for the next generation. I would love to see a doctor come out of our centre. We have children from our early years who have now grown up and are living as godly leaders in society. For example, Bhaskar, who works for TATA Consultancy Services.
