The Shining Stars centre is the founding centre, which has been running since 1996. We believe that many lives have been changed here. Many young people can attest to this.

At present, we are serving about 151 children from Nursery to 10th class, on a daily basis, from Monday to Friday, from 05:00 to 08:00 pm, with the help of 10 teachers, 2 volunteers and a leader (most of these teachers have grown up in this centre).

This area is full of people who have migrated from all parts of the states of Telangana & Andhra Pradesh. Many of the parents of our children are daily laborers (i.e. mason work, digging work, working in homes, driving small taxis etc.). Many of the families have some kind of problem between the parents (drunk fathers etc.), therefore, not much care is taken concerning the children’s education, especially girls.
